Long Term Service Fair

Come join over 40 international and domestic organizations at this year's Long Term Service Fair to learn about ways to serve after graduation. Students of all years and majors are encouraged to attend if they are interested in pursuing service options after college or during the summer. Representatives will be present from both domestic and international organizations, as well as both faith-based and secular programs. Organizations offer opportunities ranging from week-long, to month-long, to one or two years. Benefits of these programs include room and board, loan deferment, education awards, and travel and professional experience.

NIH Graduate & Professional Fair
Wednesday, July 18, 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Natcher Conference Center, NIH Campus, Bethesda, MD

The Fair will provide an opportunity for NIH summer interns (especially those in college) and NIH postbacs, as well as other college students in the DC area, to prepare for the next step in their careers by exploring educational programs leading to the PhD, MD, DDS, MD/PhD, and other graduate and professional degrees.  More than 200 outstanding colleges and universities from across the U.S. will be sending representatives from their graduate schools, medical and dental schools, schools of public health, and other biomedically relevant programs to the Fair in the hopes of recruiting NIH trainees.  The day will also include workshops on getting to graduate and professional school, MD/PhD programs, interviewing, and careers in public health, psychology, and dentistry.  Click here for event details.
