From the Metro (train)

Take the Red Line to the Brookland-CUA exit. After passing through the turnstiles, go towards the left side exit. At the top of the escalator you will see a street running parallel to the train. That is John McCormack Road (JMR). Cross it and walk up the street that dead ends into JMR. It goes up a mild hill. It is surrounded on the left and right by light-colored brick buildings that look like they were built in the 1960's. The one on the left is Gowan Hall (Nursing). The one on the right is Pangborn (Engineering). Continue up the hill on the Pangborn side of the street and pass Pangborn. You'll see a small stop sign. "Cross" the small street and walk past Crough and follow the sidewalk around to the right as you pass Crough. Continue on the same sidewalk until you come to another "street" and cross. The building in front of you is McMahon Hall (very old grey stone building with 4 floors). At the front of the building there is a small circle, go up the stairs and our office is the first one on the left when you enter.

From Downtown D.C.

Proceed to North Capitol Street. Turn right onto Michigan Avenue. Pass Trinity College on your right. Just pass Harewood Road (traffic light), turn left (another traffic light) into the driveway of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (very large cathedral). About half-way through the driveway, as it starts curving left, turn at a slight angle to the right and then left so you are proceeding along the Shrine's right side. On your right will be a big grassy mall. At the end of the mall area is a stop sign, and on your right will be a large, traditional looking administrative building named McMahon Hall. The parking lot you'll be heading into is directly behind McMahon. Continue past McMahon and bear slightly right around a small circle. Then turn right towards the parking lot at the rear of McMahon. Park as close to McMahon as you can, for your convenience. You can park in the spaces marked for faculty and staff or those unmarked. Do not, however, park in reserved spaces. Display the guest parking permit in your windshield. Enter McMahon from the parking lot (there is a sign for the Post Office) and just past the mailboxes go left at the intersectinig corridor, take the stairs on your left to the first floor and proceed to room 102. The elevator is just past the stairs.

From the North (I-95 South)

After passing through the Fort McHenry Tunnel (Baltimore), take exit 52--Route 295 South, Baltimore-Washington parkway. As you approach Washington, take the Washington--New York Ave. exit. From New York Ave., exit on South Dakota Ave. and drive to the 6th light (approximately 1.3 miles). Turn left onto Monroe Street. Follow Monroe until it merges with Michigan Ave NE, which is the 10th light (approximately 1.2 miles). Upon merging onto Michigan, proceed immediately to the large lane. Turn right at the next traffic light into the driveway of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. As you go on the bridge that goes over the Metro, move into the right lane. Upon descending from the bridge you will see a traffic light, which marks the main campus entrance. Pass this light and the next. Turn right at the third light, which will take you into the driveway leading to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. About half-way through the driveway, as it starts curving left, turn at a slight angle to the right and then left so you are proceeding along the Shrine's right side.
