Representatives from many campus offices will be on hand to describe the jobs (work-study and non-work-study) they have available and to hire those students who are interested. Work-study students can take this opportunity to get all their work-study paperwork processed including the authorization forms, I-9 form and W-4 form. Spend A Day - Tax and Assurance (1 of 2)

During Spend A Day - Tax and Assurance program, Baker Tilly participants will:

•Be exposed to some of the tax and assurance work that our new staff is assigned
•Learn directly from our staff about the culture of Baker Tilly
•The ability to meet Baker Tilly employees from partner to staff
Qualifications:
•Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting or accounting information systems and plan to work full time in 2019
•Plan to actively pursue an internship in summer 2018
•The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries
•Outstanding academic performance required, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.2
•Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration skills
•Integrity within a professional environment

Military-Only Prescreening Session For Special Police Officers

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority is hosting a hiring event for both veterans and active/alumni college students for several Special Police Officers. Metro Special Police Officers earn $36,965.00 a year and enjoy great benefits including free transportation on Metro. 2016 Conservation Careers Symposium and USA Jobs training

In collaboration with the Defenders for Wildlife, U.S Fish and Wildlife Service, and the U.S. Department of Interior we are hosting the Conservation Careers Symposium on Tuesday, July 26th from 6 to 8pm. During this session, interns will learn how to navigate USA Jobs to locate positions of interest. They will have an opportunity to have their resumes reviewed as well as advice on tailoring resumes toward selected vacancies. Interviewing basics and preparation will also be covered.
