The Catholic University of America

Anthropology is the social science that covers the humanities and natural sciences. Anthropology today seeks to understand the effects of globalization in everything from popular culture to changing patterns of migration, economics integration, the information revolution, and the constant re-evaluation of ethnic and other heritages.

CUA Anthropology majors study past and contemporary environmental studies, health and migration, cultural studies of ethnicity and religion, economic integration of localities into regional systems, ancient civilizations of the Americas, and the high-tech information age.  Visit the CUA's Anthropology Department home page.
