Education
CUA Education Department Home Page
Education prepares students to be reflective about their work and to be able to continually assess and improve their own teaching through scholar inquiry and collaboration with colleagues. Therefore, it is essential for students to have off-campus experience in teaching, which provides field experience.
CUA's Department of Education offers programs in early childhood education, elementary education, secondary education and education studies. The Education Department uses a reflective practitioner model, rooted in Catholic social justice teaching and contemporary cognitive science.
