Mechanical Engineering

CUA ME Department Homepage

Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines. Mechanical Engineering applies the principles of mechanics and energy to the design of mechanisms, power systems and controls. Because of the strong and broad technical foundation mechanical engineering provides, it allows students to acquire opportunities in engineering practice and scientific research as well as non-engineering fields such as business, law or medicine.

CUA Mechanical Engineers study programs within small, intimate classes. The Engineering Department offers a well-balanced program with up-to-date design, laboratory, and computer experiences.
