External Sources of Financial Aid
In cooperation with the office of the Associate Academic Vice President for Graduate Studies, Mullen Library, and the Office of Graduate Student Services, we have assembled a collection of resources identifying sources of external sources of financial aid for graduate students. Individual Listings
Career Services receives announcements of a variety of third-party graduate financial aid programs. Aid includes loans, grants, and fellowships. Providers include government, private organizations and public associations. The announcements include detailed explanations of the programs, criteria, and applications.
Information is organized into the following subject areas:
- Law/Politics and Philosophy
- Business/Accounting and Management
- Engineering/Science, Medical and Health
- Fine Arts/Humanities
- Library Science
- Social Science/Psychology/Education
There are also programs dedicated to minorities and women.
Other Assistance
One noteworthy source of information about graduate financial aid is The Foundation Center, 1627 K Street, NW, third floor, Washington, DC 20006 (202-331-1400), this organization serves as a clearinghouse on foundations, corporate giving, and grants for individuals. In particular, they maintain a library which is open to the public.
