SHS Inc.: This site includes an area on Medical Communications Resources.

American Journalism Review: A magazine that critiques and reports on the media.

Building Industry Exchange - An Information Center for the Building Industry:  This site lists jobs in construction management, planning, engineering, mining, and more, along with helpful resources for the building industry.

National Academy of Engineering: Career Planning Center for beginning scientists and engineers- location for job openings and the guidance and information needed to make decisions about education and career choices.

Jobs.Steel.Org:  search jobs from North American steel producers

 

Environment/Science  

Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, Career Development Office:  Designed to assist students and alumni/ae in making career choices and selections.  It is also provided for others (both career searchers and career services professionals) who are researching environmental careers.

Health Careers Organization: This site was designed for the student interested in a health career.

Health Promotion Career Network: Provides listings of jobs and internships in health promotion.

Wellness Councils of America: Helps member organizations build and sustain wellness programs.

American College of Sports Medicine": Promotes scientific research, education and practical application of sports medicine and exercise science.  The site has much information including research grants, publications, and a career center that lists job opportunities.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources

American Public Health Association: A resource for public health officials, APHA is on the forefront of disease prevention and health promotion. The site has job listings as well as links to other major public health sites.

Health Care Hiring: Complete online hiring center for healthcare and medical graduates and professionals, including medicine, dentistry, nursing, medical and dental technicians and technologists, pharmaceuticals, bio-technology, and related fields.

HireMedical:  Healthcare and medical careers, learning resources and more.

Medicenter.com: A career board matching medical personnel and employers.  Covers all aspects of the healthcare industry from insurance and billing to patient care.
