Attend REQUIRED pre-season orientation and clinics, including successful completion of instructor/mentor training
NOTE: All NWAC employees are required to, occasionally, perform alternate job functions outside of their assigned department.   
Qualifications: Personable, patient, driven, reliable and accountable expert skier/snowboarder with a love of the outdoors and a passion for teaching and mentoring children
Ability to ski safely and confidently in all snow conditions, on varying types of terrain and during extreme winter weather
Capable of skiing/riding for prolonged periods of time (2+ hours outside)
Willing and able to assist children during their entire time at The Center including introduction to the program, provisioning and outfitting of clothing, meal time supervision and cleanup, ensuring good hygiene practices and providing any needed emotional and/or physical support

Strong communication and mentoring/coaching skills
