Work Schedule and Hours: 3 days/week, preferably 4 or 5 days; 1-2 hours
Wage/Salary: $30 per pick-up/drop-off trip
Job Description: My two children and their carpool buddies attend Friends Community School (FCS) in College Park, MD. The school is a quick 18 minute drive from Capitol Hill, DC (BW Parkway/295). We have 4 kids total in the carpool. They all get along great and all live within 8 blocks of each other between 8th St, SE and the Congressional Cemetery area on Capitol Hill.  Given the siblings, there are 3 drop-offs in total. We are looking for someone reliable who could pick them up at school at least 3 days/week, preferably 4 or 5, and drop them at their houses.  One of the families in the carpool could use additional help - if it might work for you - with driving for after-school activities on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our students get out of school at 3:15pm M, T, Th, F and at  2pm on Wed. There are also occasional 12:15pm pick-ups that could be added in. This could be an ideal position for a student who is looking for a little pocket change but it does require your own car.  The days of the week can be flexible as long as they're stable and changes can be made with notice. We are looking to pay around $30 per pick-up/drop-off trip for a little over an hour's work but are open to discussion. The family looking for some help with after-school activity driving on Wednesdays and Thursdays would of course pay on top of that amount.  There is also the potential for additional babysitting income with at least one of the families – days off school, etc.  Let’s discuss! These are great kids and we are all pretty laid back parents.
Qualifications: Students applying need to be mature and reliable, enjoy kids and have a clean driving record. Students applying must have a car
