Great Hearts Academies is a non-profit network of twenty-five charter schools in Arizona and Texas dedicated to improving education by developing excelling public prep schools. Great Hearts’ academies gladly prepare graduates for success in the best colleges and universities in the nation, but the main purpose is the formation of the soul, heart, and mind. FINCA’s International Women’s Day Panel Event

Worldwide, women have come a long way.  Today, in 46 countries, women hold more than 30 percent of seats in government. Despite this momentum, women will still have to wait 118 years to close the global gender gap in the workplace, according to recent research by the World Economic Forum. This gender gap is unacceptable, in honor of International Women’s Day, thought leaders from global development, think tanks and academia will offer their perspectives on this question, and discuss what needs to be done to help achieve gender parity. The Career Services Office of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health invites students to attend the 2016 Public Health Career Fair.
