NIH hires a number of full-time positions in science fields and in administration, and this first-of-its-kind event highlights two of the divisions within NIH and the kinds of scientific and non-scientific positions they have available. The open house will include:
**Talks from National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) & National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) researchers and professionals
**Presentations about student opportunities and career information for non-scientific and scientific positions 
**Q&A with NIH Pathways and Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) participants
**Tour of NIH Clinical Center, largest research hospital in US

The GW Hatchet Fall Conference

The Hatchet is hosting a conference for college journalists. Learn reporting tips from the pros, hear how to make your work stand out in the digital newsroom and talk to journalism industry leaders at The Hatchet's fall conference.
