Dr. Jeff Moore, a subject matter expert on Asia, Irregular Warfare (including counterterrorism and counterinsurgency) and the Pacific Theater of WWII, will be leading the discussion, followed by a conversation about the important role CUA students can play, the role of graduate education, and the role of Daniel Morgan as a model of public service with an ongoing, instructional impact on our Nation's history and security. This Career Panel offers students the opportunity to speak and network with CUA alumni and other business professionals who work for nonprofit corporations. Panelists will speak to students regarding this type of industry and offer tips, advice and anecdotes from their own experience. Students will have the opportunity to split up into groups and ask the panelists individual questions they might have.

AFFIRM is piloting an exciting new spring program, introducing college students to careers and opportunities in Federal information technology (IT). This program is designed in consultation with the Federal CIO Council’s Workforce Committee and the Office of Personnel Management.
At the end of the day, students will sign-up for specific agency assignments and schedule individual shadow days with a Federal IT professional.
