Girls in Technology InspireHER A STEM Career Planning Seminar

This is a free seminar designed for college age women that are interested in careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).  This seminar will help inspire and support young women by providing guidance, access to STEM professionals and opportunities needed to pursue their dreams.
In this one-day seminar, our team of experts will offer guidance, tips, and advice to help you: create stand-out resumes, plan your job search strategy, develop your personal strategy 
 
 
The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Legislative Summit
March 14th – 16th, 2017
The annual Summit event provides USHCC members and Hispanic business leaders from across the country with a national forum. The setting allows members and leaders to address legislative issues important to the growth and expansion of America’s small business community. We would love to have a strong presence of Catholic University of America students at our event. This event is free of charge to CUA studnets. Addition information can be found here
Below is the link with instructions for student registrations. 
1. To register click here.
2. You will be prompted to enter personal information; be sure to select General Admission for registration type.
3. Following that, you will be prompted to enter information about your business. For this step, simply fill out the slots with your institution’s details (please refrain from using commas to successfully submit the registration).
4. On the Individual Event Selection page, please select the meal options you will be participating in and select next.
Review your registration on the Summary Registration page and select next.
5. On the Submit Payment page, please enter your discount code to receive your complimentary registration, which is LS17Student.
6. Once students have registered, please have them send me an email at sterrazas@ushhc.com to confirm their attendance.

American University is organizing a sustainability-focused student summit at the Smart and Sustainable Campuses Conference this March at the University of Maryland, College Park. We are currently soliciting proposals for student speakers. Presenting at and attending the conference is a great way for students to build experience for their resume and network with peers and professionals alike. The student summit is open to undergraduate and graduate students.
